Hello and Welcome! It is great to meet you! I am glad that you are here. Everyone is on their own personal journeys in life. Sometimes the journey can go smoothly and sometimes it can be rocky or rough. During those difficult moments, we can experience many different things that we are unsure how to navigate. Here at Forging Resilience, we would like to assist you in making sense of this journey and finding your path forward to optimize your potential.

I want to complement you for taking some initial steps toward your mental health and taking care of yourself. This can be a new step and can feel awkward in the beginning. The goal is to listen and learn from your experience, in order to assess and determine what help and support is needed for your needs. This process is not supposed to be scary or intimidating, but rather supportive and enlightening.
Metaphor: Imagine that you are standing at the bottom of a large mountain. You can smell the fresh air and feel the mist on your face. You look up at this beautiful mountain and you feel excited, happy, anxious, and overwhelmed. These can be very similar emotions involved in seeking mental health help and support. There are many lessons we can take away from climbing a mountain, as well as many lessons we can learn when getting mental health supports.
